OUR CLIENTS

We’ve prepared a few case studies from a selection of our clients to provide you with insight into the value ITA are capable of unlocking.

As a leading textile manufacturer and fabric engineering company, Gelvenor Textiles has been an industry innovator since 1965. Their products include a variety of aeronautical textiles, industrial fabrics, protective workwear, technical apparel and high-performance outdoor textile fabrics.

Over five decades of pushing the boundaries to unlock the possibilities of textile fabrics – driven by a passion for science, creativity and superior product performance – has resulted in a wide range of internationally acclaimed and trusted fabric solutions that meet the diverse needs of their customers.

Gelvenor contracted ITA in 2019 to manage their full supply chain – from the procurement of raw materials to their financial portfolio and invoicing process.

“The economic climate in South Africa has been challenging, and partnering with ITA has allowed Gelvenor to focus on our core business and improving relationships with our clients.  The trade and working capital solutions ITA have provided have ensured that we can continue to deliver the high standard of quality and value our clients are accustomed to” – Louis Marais, CEO – Gelvenor Textiles.

ITA Protein Commodity Specialists

ITA Protein Commodity Specialists, originally started in 2016, became a division of International Trading Agency in 2018. ITA Protein Commodity Specialists is a procurement and sales-led organisation with significant and demonstrable experience in the sourcing and transacting of protein commodities such as beef, lamb, pork, fish, poultry and more. Their Procurement Specialists are constantly scouring the local and international markets for the best deals, and their well-established strategic partnerships enable them to provide custom packaging and cold storage solutions.

ITA manages all of the Protein Division’s non-core supply chain, finance, credit, risk and cash flow. This enables Protein Commodity Specialists to focus on their core strengths of efficiently and effectively sourcing protein commodities from a global supply chain whilst building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
